Hi!

If you use a PAL C64:

If you use an NTSC C64 or a C128DCR:

This is still superslow on a 128DCR

I've tried to modify the sourcecode, but didn't find any errors to make it work at the fastversion.

Guess the problem is at krills writer.

Yeah, I think so.

Anyone who could help out with an improved block writing routine? ;)

Problem with 128DCR - Solved ?

We all know that there is problem with the 128DCR and D64 Writer

Since I knew it worked with a C64 + 1571 without problems, I tried yesterday to change the eprom to an "1571 rom" ( Took the romimage from internet )

Guess what, It worked !

128D uses CBM Dos 3.0 and 128DCR uses 3.1
And 128D have the drive controller on the drive, and 128DCR on motherboard.

But who cares when it works :-)

Tried Deus Ex Mac, some games etc without any problems.

But to test it fully, is there any good demo to really test the drive ?

Will test more tonight, and also someone can start finding the solution instead of changing roms.
