Hi, I just finalized my work on Telnet65 v1.0, a VT100 Telnet client. I guess it can best be described as remake of Kipperterm. Like Kipperterm it is based on IP65 combined with the VT100 code of Cater (http://www.opppf.de/Cater/). However it's strictly VT100 and comes as disk .PRG file. Telnet65 is based on the latest IP65 code which contains several bugfixes and autodetects both the RR-Net and the ETH64. Telnet65 is based on the latest Cater code which contains significant improvements. Additionally I added support for that line drawing seen i.e. in Midnight Commander. I have no idea what VT100 Telnet clients for the C64 are available so I can't assess how interesting Telnet65 actually is, especially given that it does not use soft80 but the stock 40 col text screen. https://github.com/oliverschmidt/ip65/releases Regards, Oliver |

Surely! Just check out 'Midnight Commander'. It is fully adjusted to 40 columns and therefore works just fine. And it is by the way a nice show case for the mapping of the VT100 underline and bold attributes to colors. |

Hi, I just released v1.2: - Beside some minor issues I fixed a bug in IP65 (the TCP/IP stack used by Telnet65) that kept Telnet65 from connecting successfully to several types of servers. - Telnet65 is now also available for the Atari (beside the C64 and the Apple //) thanks to the Christian Groessler. https://github.com/oliverschmidt/ip65/releases Regards, Oliver |
