I just got Artillery Duel to work and it's great ! I've been missing out too much on here. I'm going to try NetRacer soon. I wanted to ask what further development is there to make NetGames for the C64 I tried that Netlib64 link but it's dead. I don't know much about network programming, but I enjoy making games Would it be possible to put together some kind of Network Gaming Engine as a framework to build more netgames ? For those of us not familiar with net programming. Something where we design the games and then set the parameters for the net interface to program what data has to be sent/rcvd between the C64. Also how to setup the server, connect, etc I have several games in mind that I like to try. One is a simple Pong, original Star Trek. =Dan |

I discontinued working on netlib64 in favor of a better hardware solution. (See 1000 words post in this same forum) I'd strongly advise using IP65 instead, as it's actively maintained. |
