Post subject:  Netdrive doesnt seems to work on latest ubuntu stable.
So finally I have flashed one of the banks om my rr with TFC 0.8 so iam aswell into the TFC users :-) downloaded codenet from Grahams page and it worked well . But i cant get netrive working followed the instructions to set the IP:s in the rom before flashing it into the cart.So I have the PC ip under the NETDRIVE topic when i do a INFO command on my 64.

I only got a DEVICE NOT PRESENT error when i try to access devie 6.


Booth tryied diskimagery64 and that netdrive patch for the official netdrive source.

Running the latest stable ubuntu linux.

yes i have checked that i have no firewall or something that stops ip.

Anyone have a solution?

did you run netdrive as root? if not, try that.

Yeah tryied booth to run netdrive as that and diskimagery64 0.7
on the linux machine as root.And booth failed.And it seem they booth fuxxor with the stack becouse after i try to run them i have to reboot my linux box becouse no tcp/ip at all works.



But netdrive worked with diskimagery64 on my mac.

Btw i attach that patch i used.(a diff patch, had to rename it to jpg for being able to attach)


Any more ideas?

diskimagery64 (and thus netdrive) works fine here in my Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon machine....

And works fine here aswell now didnt really knew what i did for it to work.
