Yes, you got it! Finally the 1541U+ will become network enabled. The new batch of 1541U's have optional RR-Net compatible network interface:

    "Basically this ethernet extension consists of the hardware interface only! This means that the ethernet chip will be accessible from the C-64, by programs like Contiki or WarpCopy. These programs require an RR-net alike network daughter board connected to the cartridge port, and now, this network daughterboard is integrated on the 1541U board. (This is an option only!)"

Pre-order before it's too late. If the first batch sold out fast, wait for this one.
