MMC Replay announced From the site: - 512KB Ram - 512KB Flash Rom - clockport for RR-Net - SD/MMC card Interface (MMC64 compatible) - Freezer (Retro Replay compatible) - extended freezer-mode - support for native C128 cartridge software - freeze/activity LEDs Fits into a standard cartridge case, even with (RoHS) RR-Net connected. So much for "New RR-Net a design blooper?", we just didn't know about Individual Computers' plans |

Quite a bad topic name for such news. Also, the MMC Replay didn't even pop up at the retrohackers news yet even though the news is out for over 2 weeks already. |

That really is the only way to WRITE to ROM address space. In all other memory modes a WRITE will go to the "underlying" C64 RAM. In Ultimax Mode WRITEs to $8000-$9fff and $e000-$ffff will NOT go to C64 RAM and luckily for us they don't end up in oblivion but at the "intended" destination. |

Ah, i didn't know this is true also for $e000--$ffff. Good to know! I was hoping for DMA in MMC Replay though. |
