Anyone got a good 1541 disc editor for linux in a .deb file would be nice. i wish to open a .d64 image and copy files to it etc. Thanks in advance |

Take a look at DiskImagery64. I'm fairly certain it's available for Debian. |

There's also c1541 that comes with vice (commandline only). |

yes, there is a .deb for diskimagery64 and it worked perfectly for me running ubuntu; seems to be a quite good tool, though i didn't do much with it by now - i prefer c1541 from within a shell. |

Does c1541 still allocate sectors sequentally? That leads to absolutely terrible loading times with real hardware or true drive emulation. |

I cannot display my website using http://www.c64web.com i have spoken to my internet provider and there domains team they don't have a clue resolving the correct ip address ect. Could i get a few of you to access http://www.c64web.com and tell me the results i feel they suspect its at my end but if others not on the westnet service can it would be there end. i can access it locally with the local ip address of the server 192.168.1.100 . i can see it from work not on a westnet account. |
