Take a look at DiskImagery64. I'm fairly certain it's available for Debian.

There's also c1541 that comes with vice (commandline only).

yes, there is a .deb for diskimagery64 and it worked perfectly for me running ubuntu; seems to be a quite good tool, though i didn't do much with it by now - i prefer c1541 from within a shell.

Does c1541 still allocate sectors sequentally? That leads to absolutely terrible loading times with real hardware or true drive emulation.

I cannot display my website using http://www.c64web.com i have spoken to my internet provider and there domains team they don't have a clue resolving the correct ip address ect.

Could i get a few of you to access http://www.c64web.com and tell me the results i feel they
suspect its at my end but if others not on the westnet service can it would be there end.

i can access it locally with the local ip address of the server 192.168.1.100 .
