I only use emulation for development. But even for this Task, I mostly transfer my stuff to the real machine using RR-Net. I will keep prefering the real thing as long as the hardware keeps working.

I agree. Actually, cross-developing using RR-net and Codenet proved to be much faster than using Vice, since Vice always cold starts, which takes about 3 seconds . Transfering with Codenet only takes half a second

I use vice for a first look at releases and rr development. It's a pain to search a bug in a rr routine on the real machine. :) For games and other development (especially speeder) nothing beats the real thing! |
