| Post subject: | Where to purchase hardware? |
I have decided to get back into c64 programming and was wondering about the best place to purchase the necessary hardware for networking, file-transfers and debugging. From the sounds of it I will need at minimum a Retro Replay + RRnet and maybe a MMC64? All this hardware is made by individual computers jschoenfeld.de correct? Is it best to contact them/him directly or should I go through protovision-online.de or go64.de? The protovision store does not seem to have stock and go64.de store does not seem to work at all (php errors). Are there any other options? Thanks for your help. |

as far as i know rr-net is out of stock at the moment but will be available soon again (we all hope). i think protovision is a little cheaper in some hardwrae than go64. then there is vesalia (is it spelled right...?!) which i think offer c64 hardware as well. you can find rr-net/ mmc64 quite often at ebay this times as well contacting jens schönfeld directly might be the best idea since he can tell you if the desired hardwrae is available at the moment. |

You could also check http://www.c64reloaded.com/ to order from the US. Don't know if they still got any RR-nets in stock. |
