Cool .. I was playing with the netdrive pc-side server program the other day .. Managed to get it to complie on Dev C++ . I added a little routine that would allow you to write a file to the pc by sending a dos command from the c64 . I wanted to see if this was possible because I had an idea to expand the server so that one could send screenshots from the c64, but its not going to be too usefull if you have to be in basic to type the dos command 
I suppose the rom istelf would have to be modified and a hotkey built in .. But my power supply exploded and that demoralized me .. so now I'll wait till my new power supply arrives from protovision. |

Fixed: Incompability of the CHKIN routine now gone. WarpCopy file access should work again. Fixed: Instability of freezing in BASIC editor fixed. Fixed: Kernal replacements now enforce BASIC ROM, so more programs should work with them now. Added: Netdrive driver for GETIN Kernal routine. I really like the first fix

Bones64: Oh man, that's a torture! I am trying to get my VC1541 working, that stupid plastic "flap", somehow got a puck so it doesn't work at all now... So I am stuck to my 1571 for a while now. Good luck with everything. |

Sorry to hear about the PSU. Was it the stock C= model? They're notorious for failing

They're notorious for failing Yeah .. it was one of the cheapo 'black brick' ones , the insides all sealed in apoxy or resin or something, I hope it didn't damage my mmc or tfr carts  .
I've ordered a heavy duty supply from Protovision, but it hasn't arrived yet
