Hi I have just got in to accessing a few bbs sites via my stock C64 with a retro replay/rrnet cart
I have created an account/sign up to Antidote and cottonwood.
So far i prefer cottonwood and have sent a few messages to balzabaar and he has replied to my question which is
how do i go in to receive mode when trying to download something from the bbs site?
I am wanting to download bubble bobble and i am using xmodem in the settings.
I press D to download then enter the filename (bubble bobble) it then goes on to show the filename and file size in blocks.
Then all i have to do to complete is select RECEIVE mode? and thats what i need to know is how on guruterm-beta1 how to select RECEIVE mode?

can anyone help please ?

Hi

Great to hear that you have embraced the world of C64 BBS:ing over the internet. Unfortunately GuruTerm does not have file transfer capabilities. Skyterm would probably be your best option. NovaTerm 9.6 does not have internet capabilities at all.
