I am just wondering what RR Boards you guys are using. The old "black" board or the new "red" board.

Also, for the guys in the states what NTSC ROM version are you using.

I am just trying to get some feedback so I can put together an article for the U.S. guys since most updates and patches seem to be for pal systems.

I have one black-green with red buttons (Jens said it's the very first batch of RRs, only 36 of these exist) and a blue one with black buttons.

My RR is the red board. I use latest NTSC AR ROM. None of the RR NTSC ROMs have ever saved a file without corrupting it for me. BTW why doesn't the RR fast save do error checking?

Oh yeah, hello everyone! 8)

I've got a black and a red one. Dunno why this thread interests people at all though? Isn't it a quite obvious fact that there are a bunch of people who own one or the other of the revisions which has been produced so far? Simple as that? :)

Please explain to me... :)

Statistic reasons or just the plain curiosity what people own? ;)

Also different roms and flashers work with different board revisions.

Is there really a black version? Isn't it just very dark blue (the one that says "Final version, May 17th, 2001") ?
