 Post subject: c128 80 col lead

I might have a problem with my 1084s.
But it could be the lead i am using, is the video
lead for the c128 a pin for pin like.
Its a 9pin din plug on both ends.
Is pin one connected to pin one and so on :?

I don't have this monitor, but if this information is correct, the 8 pins from the monitor should be connected to pins 2-9 on the computer, except for the monochrome composite output pin 7, which could apparently end up grounded.
