Yes, as you guys might have noticed the forum has been unstable lately. This was due to what I thought was a failing harddrive. This showed to be a correct assumption. However it turned out that not only the harddrive was failing but the controller too, so I had to replace the motherboard aswell. Good news is that some friendly people donated a motherboard, processor and memory. Bad news is that I still need to replace the harddrive (I'm temporarily using an old disk). Hopefully the current disk will hold together until I can afford a new one.

More good news is that the new server is much faster

Thanks to the generosity of Doc.Bacardi/The Dreams, I can now buy the server a new harddrive that will safely serve the Retro hacking community for years to come!! No more daily backups. No more sleepless nights! RRforum will stay alive!!
